Harmony Day, 31 May 2014

On Harmony Day the Australia China Friendship Society (ACFS) kindly allowed the Centre to set up a table in their designated area in the Waterfront District in Darwin.

We set up a chopsticks competition: could people use chopsticks to move twenty marbles from one bowl to another?

Young people approached the task very seriously, concentrating and working hard to win a small prize, such as a small Chinese paper cutting.

The competition was very popular: a lot of people wanted to have a go.
